My name is David Olmstead. Welcome to my online portfolio and blog. This is a new site and will evolve over time.

Most of my working life has been concentrated in the field of advertising as a freelance artist and illustrator. Over the years I have done illustrations for corporations, publishers, advertising agencies and design firms. I have worked with many designers, account executives and art directors both locally and nationally crafting art for corporate brochures, children books and magazines, portraiture, animal art and product illustration. Consumer food packaging is perhaps my strongest area of expertise. Many packaged food products found on your local grocery shelves have displayed my art.
